Female to male transgender, been transitioning for more than 10 years. Coming out to family and some friends were not supportive, got kicked out of home, but now things are starting to change for the better. Lived off working two jobs to make ends meet all while finishing college. It took all my savings out for surgeries and hormones. I still feel uncomfortable with the world we live in but I think it's important to be visible to the community so that others looking for support know that it's ok to be who you are despite what the world tells us.I'm still trying to accomplish my dreams not just in becoming the man I want to be, but in the person I want to become for others. Getting rejected has caused me to find inner strength when it's the only option I have in this life. I'll always find this world difficult to live in with who I am but I know I have support from friends who have become family and know the struggles of just being the person you were meant to be.I now own a house and have become independent and take control of my life and all its struggles and I hope that becomes an inspiration to others. We all need to love one another, through and through.
